About Our CANON PRO-1000 Printer

Our CANON PRO-1000 Image PROGRAF printer provides magnificent technology for FINE Printing Technology.

time was invested in researching and surveying different high-end printing products, to select the optimum choice for producing the best quality prints of our artwork.  Our 17″ wide CANON PRO-1000 Image PROGRAF Professional Photographic Inkjet Printer is designed to offer large-format print sizes with exceptional image quality. The PRO-1000 allows high-quality large-format files to be sent to the printer for making vivid, detailed photographic prints.

The LUCIA PRO ink set offers four monochrome inks that reduce bronzing, increase black density, and expand dynamic range in the shadows for excellent grayscale prints.

The 11-color LUCIA PRO pigment-based ink set and Chroma Optimizer cartridge improves color consistency on coated papers and creates prints with fine detail and accurate color. The Image PROGRAF FINE printing technology is designed to produce impressively detailed prints on a variety of fine-art papers with deep blacks, and accurate quality colors.

Paper selection is also an essential element of producing fine art quality prints. We studied numerous available papers from various vendors to identify papers for professional-quality prints. Test printing our work on various papers revealed the best match for printing each genre. Original paintings are beautifully printed on canvas textured paper offering a texture authentic to paintings executed on canvas. Mixed media and graphite art printed on heavyweight matte paper results in stunning prints. Original photography prints rise to the level of fine art when printed on less reflective high-quality matte paper.

We match printing options with the desired aesthetic result for our varied genres of art. The professional archival quality of each print is guaranteed.

Matting and Framing

There are so many options for framing and matting available that there’s no way for us to offer even a small portion of what’s available. On the other hand, it seems that many of you prefer to just simply buy it and hang it. Thus, we are going to offer framing and matting with what we think looks good. If you like our artwork but not our frames, we would love for you to buy our prints and frame them yourselves.

We have made an effort to size our prints so that they will fit standard frames and mats. That is not always possible so we have tried to add notes to the product descriptions describing the frames and mats we had in mind or if we know a custom something is going to be required.

We are going to start out with only a few products available with mats and frames, but we are planning to add more as we go. If something you see is not available framed and matted and you are interested, please let us know and we will move it to the front of the line.

Flynt is of the opinion that his pencil drawings look their best with an off white mat next to the drawing and a dark gray mat framing the off white mat. This paired with a black wood frame looks great.

We are finding it difficult to obtain the exact same frame consistently. Thus, the frame pictured may not always be a frame that we can get. For Flynt’s drawings we will endeavor to provide a black frame that is about 2″ to 2 ΒΌ” wide. Feel free to ask us for a picture of the frame we will be providing.

Best Regards,

As always, feel free to contact us about anything.
